Security Challenges and Solutions in Wireless Sensor Networks: a Case study of Afghanistan
Abstract: Due to their capability to collect and relay data from locations without supervision, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have become essential for numerous contemporary applications (such as environmental monitoring, smart cities, and healthcare). However, the open and resource-constrained nature of WSNs makes them particularly vulnerable to security threats. This paper reviews the key security Issue faced by WSNs and the solutions proposed in recent literature. We examine the unique constraints of …

Unified Ensemble Techniques for Enhanced DDoS Attack Prevention and Detection
Abstract: Today’s world is entirely reliant on the internet. The internet is a worldwide information source that all users rely on, hence its accessibility is critical. There have been reports in recent years, particularly in the information and technology division of significant organizations worldwide, of data breaches where the terms denial-of-service (DoS) and DDoS are consistently present in the stolen material. Network security is seriously threatened by DoS attacks. They have …

An Automated Smart Contract Repair Framework for Reentrancy, Integer Overflow, and Denial- of-Service Vulnerabilities
Abstract: This paper introduces a novel static analysis framework designed to bridge a long-standing gap in Ethereum smart contract security: the disconnect between vulnerability detection and automated remediation. Although widely adopted tools such as Slither and Oyente are highly effective at identifying security weaknesses, they stop short of providing actionable fixes. As a result, developers manually patch vulnerabilities, a process that is not only time-consuming but also susceptible to human error …

DDoS Detection Using Cascade Correlation for Improving Network Resources in Cloud Environment
Abstract: Intrusion detection is critical for protecting network security from emerging cyber threats. This study describes a unique intrusion detection system (IDS) based on the Random Forest algorithm. Random Forests are used as an effective classifier to identify patterns linked with malevolent behaviour. This technique uses Random Forests to improve the accuracy and efficiency of intrusion detection systems. The suggested methodology's value is shown by its performance on the benchmark KDD …

A Review of AI-Based Intrusion Detection Systems for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs)
Abstract: Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) comprise wireless networks that lack any conventional infrastructure . Their chief features include highly changing network topologies, lack of centralized administration, and open nature of communication, which collectively result in making MANETs of the wireless kind very susceptible to a diverse range of cyber-attacks like blackhole, greyhole, wormhole, flooding, Sybil and denial-of-service (DoS) among others. Conventionally, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) relying on static rule-based methods …
