Accident Avoidance and Crash Detection Using GSM and GPS
Abstract: The Accident Avoidance and Crash Detection system is designed to enhance vehicle safety by utilizing real-time accident detection, speed tracking, and automated crash prevention mechanisms integrated with GSM and GPS technologies. The system incorporates an accelerometer to identify abrupt changes in acceleration, indicating a potential collision. Upon detecting an accident, the system automatically transmits an alert message with the vehicle's GPS location to a designated mobile number using GSM technology, …

IoT-based Black Box Monitoring for Vehicle Crash Data Analysis and Improving Safety
Abstract: Road accidents are a significant global concern. This project proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based black box monitoring system for vehicles to enhance road safety through comprehensive crash data analysis. The system expands on traditional black boxes by incorporating various sensors (accelerometers, gyroscopes, GPS) and potentially in-cabin cameras (with privacy safeguards). This data offers a deeper understanding of crash dynamics, including impact severity, vehicle motion, and safety system deployment timing. …

Smart Train Station System: An IoT- Powered Platform with Arrival Detection
Abstract: The primary objective of this paper is to provide platform users with timely arrival status information and automate pedestrian crossing of the railroad tracks without the need for a staircase. This approach aims to mitigate potential accidents, particularly significant in regions like India where train accidents are more prevalent. Using IR transceivers, it determines each tsrain's state and notifies the micro controller about it. By using this research to prevent …

Enhancing Space Safety: A Review of CubeSat Constellations for Tracking Orbital Debris
Abstract: Space debris includes any human-made object in orbit or idle. Debris reentering the atmosphere or orbiting the Earth are examples of these things. Debris can include satellites or launch vehicles, dysfunctional spacecraft, remains from rockets and airplanes from crashes or explosions, debris from spacecraft and vehicles that were purposefully expelled during separation or operation, etc. The danger of collisions rises as the number of items in the path increases. Over …
