Reverse Engineering and CFD Analysis of Carburetor
Abstract: AbstractA carburetor is a mechanical device that provides necessary support to the superstructure of an internal combustion engine. The function of the carburetor is to mixes the air and fuel for internal combustion engine. A carburetor is used in the two wheeler vehicle. The development of carburetor through conventional manufacturing got many challenges to complexity in design geometry and high competitions in industry due to cost management. Hence a study …

Air Flow Analysis on a Barrel Carburetor and a Barrel Intake Manifold
Abstract: The experiment performed was to determine air flow, velocity, pressure and turbulence through an adaptor plate between a 2-barrel carburetor and a 4-barrel intake manifold. We first created the part using SolidWorks making sure to include 2 body parts that allowed a smooth transition of air through the intake. We then uploaded an assembly instead of a singular part to ANSYS to ensure the airflow read was accurate, as well …

Smart Carburetor (A New Technology/Methods to Convert All Fuels into Useful Energy/Shaft power/ Engine Power, in Automobiles)
Abstract: The combustion of fuels is and will be in the nearest future a basic way of acquiring the energy, the work of non-materials are used in this equipment or design that transform all fuels into usable energy or shaft power to improve the performance of that particular vehicle. here simply convert all fuels into a homogeneous mixture (which is a little non-homogeneous in chemical nature) and turn all fuel particles …

Development of cruise control for two wheelers
Abstract: In the modern day automotive autocruise control system there is a control loop which controls the throttle that is usually controlled by the driver with the handle lever, and maintains the speed of the vehicle at a preset speed which offers safety and fatigue less drive to the driver. In the proposed work, throttle valve of the carburetor is operated in two ways, manually by throttle handle and automatically by …
