Impact of Pesticides in Commercial Bee Farming: A review
Abstract: The presence of honey bees in the environment has a significant impact on global food production. Honey bees pollinate 71 crops out of 100 most common crops that account for 90% of the world's food supply, which makes them efficient pollinators of crops. While searching for pollen and nectar, the bee is often unprotected from several chemical toxins such as plant protection products. These chemicals enter their body via a …

Honeybees as pollinators and their conservation: A review
Abstract: Pollination is a critical mechanism for maintaining and conserving biodiversity, with pollinator diversity playing a major role for the enhancement of food security and livelihoods. Pollinators provide the essential service of enabling plants to produce fruits and seeds in our ecosystems. These pollinators come from many groups within the kingdom Animala, including insects, birds, bats and reptiles. Among them, arthropods, especially honey bees, are pivotal In delivering pollination services to …

Different Weeds Management Practices Adopted by Growers under Different Cropping System in Punjab, Pakistan
Abstract: Weeds are major constraint to low production and are responsible for considerable yield loses in field crops. Weeds are hardy and vigorous in growth habits consume the large amount of water and nutrients causing high losses in production. Different physical, chemical and biological methods are being used in Punjab for the control of weeds. In physical control method manual or mechanical power are used to remove the weeds depending on …
