Consideration of Collision Damage in FPSO Structural Design
Abstract: AbstractA collision event may be catastrophic for an offshore facility or a floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO). Depending on the size and speed of the impacting ship, anything from damage to hull rupture, oil pollution, flooding, loss of buoyancy, capsizing, and sinking may occur. Supply vessels and tankers frequently visit the FPSO to transport consumables and chemicals and, consequently, there is a risk of collision between two structures. …

Hydrodynamic Stability of Parallel Flow and Rotating Flow of Inviscid Fluid Dynamics
Abstract: AbstractStream unsteadiness and fierce change can be all around clarified utilizing another proposedhypothesis - Energy slope hypothesis (Dou, 2005). In this hypothesis, the strength of a streamrelies upon the general size of vitality slope in streamwise heading and that transverse way, ifthere is no work input. In this note, it is indicated dependent on the vitality slope hypothesisthat inviscid non-uniform stream is flimsy if the vitality transverse way isn't consistent. …

Efficient Nanostructure Cathode Material for Low Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells: LaSr0.5Mn0.5Co2-xFexO5+δ
Abstract: While significant progress has been made in anode materials with enhanced tolerance to coking and contaminant poisoning, cathodic polarization still contributes considerably to energy loss, more so at lower operating temperatures. Here we report a synergistic effect of co-doping in a cation-ordered double-perovskite material, LaSr0.5Mn0.5Co2-xFexO5+δ , which has created pore channels that dramatically enhance oxygen ion diffusion and surface oxygen exchange while maintaining excellent compatibility and stability under operating conditions. …
