A Comprehensive Survey on Massive MIMO Systems
Abstract: During the last decades with the mobile data traffic exponentially growing, demands for increased cell density or increased number of antennas per access point. Massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) was found to be one of the solution for the ever increasing data traffic demand. However due to the inter cell interference and largely varying quality of service , massive MIMO lacks to meet the expectations of the demands of …

REDUCING BASE STATION POWER CONSUMPTION
Abstract: As power consumption is becoming a key issue in mobile communication and the heart of mobile communication is Base Station. This paper concentrates on reducing BS power consumption by using three basic power saving mechanisms: sleep mode, discontinuous transmission and antenna adaptation. This algorithm concentrates on reducing power consumption for MIMO-OFDM. Simulations results state that the proposed algorithm is capable of reducing BS power consumption significantly.Cite this ArticlePooja Ashok Vairagade, …

Performance Enhancement of Cognitive Radio Spectrum Sharing (CRSS) with MIMO System
Abstract: A key challenge in operating cognitive radios (CRs) in a self-organizing (ad hoc) network is to adaptively and efficiently allocate transmission powers and spectrum among CRs according to the surrounding environment. Cognitive radio networks will provide high bandwidth to mobile users via heterogeneous wireless architectures and dynamic spectrum access techniques. CR networks inflict challenges due to the fluctuating nature of the available spectrum, as well as the diverse QoS requirements …

Channel Prediction and Estimation Based on Machine and Deep Learning Techniques: A Review
Abstract: Channel prediction estimation in the high- speed mobile environment is a hot issue for 3D massive multiple input multiple output (MIMO) millimeter-wave (mmWave) system. In this environment, the channel has fast time-varying and non-stationary characteristics. And its time-domain correlation coefficient is a time- varying parameter, which makes it difficult for traditional channel estimation methods to capture the channel variations over time and achieve ideal channel estimation performance. A known signal, …
