Genetic Diversity and Characterization of Ocimum sanctum Collected from Anand, Central Gujarat Region, by PCR-based RAPD Markers
Abstract: Genetic relationships were examined among thirty germplasm accessions belonging to ten Ocimum species using RAPD markers. A very high degree of polymorphism (98.92%) was observed. UPGMA cluster analysis of genetic similarity indices grouped all the accessions into two major clusters corresponding to previously reported botanical sections. Intra-clustering within the two clusters precisely grouped the accessions belonging to one species in onesub-cluster as expected from their genetic background. Results of this …

Modulation of Receptor Proteins: A Recent Paradigm in Drug Discovery and Target
Abstract: The main aim in drug discovery is to design different ligands those work on specific drug targets. However, various effective drugs work through the modulation of many proteins than single target. Advancement in system biology are establishing a phenotypic strength and a network structure, which suggests that, the excellent selective compounds may be performed less than desired clinical efficacy in comparison to multi-target drugs. In this new appreciation of the …

Comparative Study of Structure-from-Motion Algorithms 3D Shape Reconstruction
Abstract: 3D shape reconstruction from multiview photographs and video sequences (2D images) is an active area of research. Existing face recognition systems are based on 2D facial images and exhibit well-known deficiencies. Accordingly, the face recognition research is gradually shifting from classical 2D to sophisticated 3D or hybrid 2D/3D. Currently the 3D reconstruction algorithms may be grouped in to four categories. These are shape-from-X, 3D morphable model (3DMM), structure from motion …

Epigenetic Modifications in Health, Disease, and Precision Therapeutics (From Genome to Epigenome)
Abstract: Introduction: Epigenetic alterations play a crucial role in regulating gene expression in both normal physiological and disease states. These reversible modifications—such as DNA methylation, histone acetylation, phosphorylation, ubiquitination, and chromatin remodelling—are increasingly implicated in complex diseases including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Despite advances in standard therapeutic approaches, patient responses remain variable, largely due to genetic heterogeneity and epigenetic dysregulation. This highlights the need for incorporating epigenetic understanding into personalized medicine. …
