Study of technical and economic assessment of solar-assisted and thermoelectric air-conditioning technologies
Abstract: This study presents an integrated technical and economic assessment of solar-assisted absorption and thermoelectric air-conditioning technologies for residential cooling applications. A comprehensive methodology combining mathematical modelling, experimental characterization of thermoelectric modules, numerical simulation, and economic optimization was developed to evaluate the performance of both cooling systems. The solar-assisted system employs single-effect LiBr–H₂O absorption chillers operating under water-cooled and air-cooled configurations, simulated using TRNSYS and Engineering Equation Solver (EES), while the …

Experimental Analysis and Optimization of Pulse TIG Welding Parameters for Dissimilar Aluminum Alloys
Abstract: Tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding is highly regarded as the primary welding method, especially for challenging metals like aluminum. Pulsed-current TIG welding has been specifically developed for welding aluminum alloys. Composite weld joints of aluminum alloys AA5052 and AA6063 find extensive use in diverse sectors such as automotive and marine applications, where significant mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are required. It is crucial to carefully select the process parameters to …

Role of Clinical Pharmacists During Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in Intensive Care Units and Emergency Departments: A Narrative Review
Abstract: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) represents an essential emergency procedure designed to reestablish spontaneous circulation and enhance survival rates among individuals suffering cardiac arrest. Successful resuscitation necessitates prompt clinical judgment, expeditious pharmaceutical interventions, compliance with advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) guidelines, and synchronized interprofessional collaboration. During recent decades, clinical pharmacists have gained greater incorporation within emergency response and resuscitation units owing to their specialized knowledge in medication oversight, pharmacotherapeutic enhancement, and patient …

RoseRAG-Based Clinical Decision Support System for Precision Medication Safety
Abstract: Medication-related errors remain a major challenge in healthcare, contributing to adverse drug events, increased hospitalization rates, and substantial healthcare costs. Conventional Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) primarily rely on rule-based mechanisms for identifying drug-related problems (DRPs), including drug–drug interactions, contraindications, dosing errors, therapeutic duplication, and medication omissions. Although effective in structured environments, these systems frequently generate excessive context-insensitive alerts, leading to alert fatigue and reduced clinical acceptance. Recent developments in …
