Abstract

AbstractThe IOT based project is designed to keep an account on excessive use of carbon by industries. A dynamic tax is imposed when carbon level exceeds its threshold. Tracking down the carbon footprint of every product using the blockchain would shield the data from tampering and it can be used to figure out the amount of carbon tax that is to be charged at the point of sale. If an industry is producing more carbon, then its data is picked up by sensor and this industry can be fined due to malpractices and the fine money will be sent to the people whose data are embedded in the system. Keywords: Carbon footprints, Tax, Blockchain, Arduino, Mq135Cite this ArticleHarjeet Kaur, Sharad Singh Bisht, Sahil Sharma, Aditya Singh.
