In this paper, impingement cooling on single stationary flat stainless steel plate in which we illustrate the effects of cooling rate, heat transfer rate, and heat transfer coefficient of plate when jet hole diameter changes from 5 to 8 mm; it means that there are changes in Re and Nu number and corresponding changes in air velocity. Select the jet to target plate distance as 9D, where D=diameter of the jet hole and choose central jet hole configuration which is best for cooling purpose. Target plate made is of stainless steel material because its properties are near to the gas turbine blade material properties and have maximum strength at high temperature. The main objectives are to implement experimental setup for impingement cooling and improving performance and efficient cooling by single stationary stainless steel flat plate. In case of laminar flow, more cooling occurs by jet plate hole diameter D=5 mm compared to D=8 mm.
