This paper presents algorithm to detect and count small size objects using digital image processing in MATLAB. Digital image processing can be used for small size with high accuracy. The image with different objects is captured by digital camera. There is an algorithm based on morphologic that converts the input image into a format such that the number of objects can be counted based on the components present in the enhanced image.
