There is currently no widely accepted approach to enhance the rate of wound healing for scaldburn injuries, despite the numerous factors that can contribute to the wound becoming chronicand non-healing. Various modalities are used to accelerate the rate of healing, like platelet richplasma, local infiltration of insulin, irritant substances, laser therapy et al. This study aims toexplore the potential benefits of utilizing Autologous Platelet Rich Plasma (APRP) as asupplementary treatment in plastic surgery, specifically in managing skin grafted sites andreducing complications such as graft contracture, hypertrophy, and ulceration. With its abundantgrowth factors, APRP has the capacity to serve as an adjunct therapy to improve outcomes acrossdifferent Plastic Surgery cases.
