Abstract

Chyle leak following head-and-neck malignancy resection is a rare but potentially life-threatening complication. Management may be problematic and prolonged due to delayed wound healing, nutritional impairment, and extended hospitalization. Here is a case of a 60-year-old male operated for left buccal mucosa composite resection with PMMC flap complicated by a chyle leakage. Keywords: Chyle leakage, neck dissection, thoracic duct ligation, PMMC flap Cite this ArticleSachin Bansod, Vasant Pawar, Jain SKT.
