Abstract

Bacillus clausii is a universally occurring beneficial bacteria. It is gram-positive, spore forming, lactic acid producing probiotic. A study was carried out on inhibitory effects of Bacillus clausii on growth of some pathogens isolated from clinical specimens of pathogens selected for this study were Candida albicans isolated from blood and urine samples of patients. Results showed that Bacillus clausii produced good antimicrobial activity against Candida albicansKeywords: Probiotcs, Enterogermina, Bacillus clausii,Candida albicansCite this ArticleJagriti Sharma, Ankur Goyal, Kajal Alam, Yati Tomar.
