Conversion of Siddha Churnam to Tablet—Challenges and Opportunities to Merge Siddha Wisdom with Modern Science

Abstract

AbstractWe have devised a path breaking, out-of-box method to merge the ancient scholarly wisdom of Siddhars with modern science to convert siddha churnam to tablet dosage form. Although the tablet dosage form offers accuracy when dispensed but how to fix the drug dosage in tablet for the treatment remains elusive. By simulating a gut model in a beaker and by using an advanced sophisticated instrument—spectrophotometer—we have devised a method which is discussed in the paper.
