IoT-based Energy Meter Monitoring and Load Control

Abstract

In present scenario, the electricity demand is increasing day by day because of increasing population growth. Therefore, managing the upkeep and enough supply of electricity is getting more and more difficult. Therefore, for maintaining the proper consumption of electricity, technology improvements are very important. In this review, energy saving using IoT (Internet of Things) technologies that have been published is assessed and surveyed. It is totally remote access and can be turned on or off by phone. For a better supply of electricity, monitoring, optimization, and power conservation are the main goals that need to be accomplished. This article utilizes an Arduino microcontroller, and the consumer can manage the power by knowing energy usage from time to time. The Wi-Fi module enables the presentation of the generation unit in Watts on the website.
