Abstract

Evaluation of the varied concentration of liquid bio-slurry and growth performance of Venise hybrid tomato variety was carried out on locations of major growing areas Arbaminch Amibara Commercial farm. The purpose of the study was to test the responses of Venise hybrid tomato variety for varied concentration of liquid bio-slurry fertilizer. The Venise hybrid tomato variety has been shown significant variability across varied bio-slurry concentration. The result reveals that mean heights of plant height, number of leaves per plant and primary branches per plant on (30000 L ha -1) biogas slurry concentration. Based on the result thus (30000 L ha -1) biogas slurry concentration can be safely suggested for demonstrate and scale-up of the crop across the tested areas.
