In present era lifestyle becomes very unbalance and stressful that’s why individuals suffer from various degenerative diseases like osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis prevalence ranges from 22–39% in India. In ayurveda it can be correlated with sandhivata, a disease of vata origin which occurs due to vata prakop and asthidhatu kshaya. A 60-year-old lady rush to ayurvedic hospital for better treatment with joint pain, tenderness, limitation of movements, crepitus, occasional effusion and variable degrees of inflammation but there are no any systemic effects for long days back and earlier she was taking modern medicine such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). Removing the (NSAID) the patient advised to snehan, swedan, janubasti and kati basti for forty five days with oil, ras aushadhi, decoction and guggule. Patient subjective criteria, objective criteria, haematology and bio-chemical investigation have significant change in before and after test without any untoward and side effect.
