Abstract

Nanobiotechnology is a rapidly growing field that combines the principles of nanotechnology with biology, medicine, and biotechnology. This review article provides an overview of recent advances in nanobiotechnology and their applications in various fields, including drug delivery, imaging, biosensors, tissue engineering, and nanomedicine. The article also discusses the challenges and future prospects of nanobiotechnology. This review article provides an overview of recent advances in nanobiotechnology and their applications in various fields. One of the most promising applications of nanobiotechnology is drug delivery. Nanoparticles can be designed to deliver drugs to specific cells or tissues, resulting in improved therapeutic efficacy and reduced side effects. In addition, nanoparticles can be used for imaging purposes, such as in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) scans. Nanoparticles can also be used as biosensors for detecting biomolecules, such as proteins and DNA. Nanobiotechnology also has applications in tissue engineering. Nanoparticles can be used to enhance the properties of scaffolds for tissue regeneration, such as improving mechanical strength and biocompatibility. Nanoparticles can also be used to improve the properties of implants, such as reducing infection rates and improving biocompatibility. Despite the numerous advantages of nanobiotechnology, there are also several challenges that need to be addressed. These include toxicity, biocompatibility, and regulatory issues. In addition, the translation of nanobiotechnology from the laboratory to the clinic requires extensive testing and validation. In the future, nanobiotechnology is expected to have a significant impact on various fields. Nanoparticles are expected to be used for targeted drug delivery, personalized medicine, and disease diagnosis. Nanobiotechnology is also expected to play a critical role in the development of new materials with unique properties, such as self-healing and self-cleaning materials.
