Abstract

With its ability to transfer electric impulses, make contact with neurons, and mimic the environment of neurons, carbon nanotubes have been intriguing  candidates for the development of scaffolding that could promote neuronal growth and division. In order to encourage the growth and development of human brain cells, the researchers developed biodegradable composite scaffolding comprised of interconnected carbon nanotubes dispersed in the poly-L-lactic acid substrate. To imitate the guiding inputs of the neuronal environment, the researchers additionally produced peptides derived from the L1 and LINGO1 enzymes. Such peptides could have a significant effect on neural conversion, which would be boosted synergistically by the combination of proteins and nanocomposite scaffolding, suggesting the presence of long neuronal growth factor implantation. Due to its biological properties and its utility in brain tissue, the researchers selected PLLA as polymer matrices. The researchers chose NTCs from among the many available NTCs as of their high conductivity & form that mimics nanoscale aspects of a extracellular environment. Excellent work just published suggests that CNTs have a positive effect on neuron development and development. Furthermore, the limitations of these technologies have become obvious. Although TNCs rendered motionless on microscope slides help relieve some of these problems, it is not a good technique for stem cell therapy because collectivists are not implanted. Nanocomposite CNT-PLLA scaffolding, on the other hand, provide the necessary mechanical functionality for internal fixation. In addition, the low percentage of pure NTC in scaffolding reduces both expense and cytotoxicity caused by the remaining contaminants. Our CNT- PLLA scaffolds exhibit synergistic effects in promoting neuronal stem cell differentiation when paired with the peptide, making it a great starting point for building implanted scaffolding for human neural development.
