Feasibility Analysis of Advanced Modulation Techniques for FSO in Different Weather Conditions
Abstract: AbstractIn recent times, the ever increasing demand of higher bandwidth and more data rate had led researchers to explore new dimensions in wireless technology. One of the most promising fields is that of free-space optics (FSO). Light is used to carry information through space with the physical medium being the air. This paper investigates the effect on Q-factor and power loss for various advanced modulation schemes under different weather conditions. …

Performance Study in Modified DPSK, MZI Delay Mismatch at 40Gbps Fiber Dispersive Channel
Abstract: AbstractHigher data rate transmission is a desirable feature for the communication system in every era. As they have potentially higher fiber capacity, also have lower cost per bit. This paper presents performance investigation with partial differential phase shift keying and influence of MZI delay mismatch in the high data rate dispersive channels. Ideal fiber braggs grating is considered as fiber dispersive medium with different dispersion. Numerical simulation depicts that in …

Effect of Surface Wettability on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow in SU-8 Microchannels
Abstract: AbstractSU-8 microfluidic devices have been fabricated by the maskless lithography. Passive capillary flow is suitable to manipulate liquid in the lab-on-a-chip systems. The surface-driven capillary flow of dyed water in each microfluidic device has been recorded and analysed. The measured static water contact angles are 72.6°and 81.2° on the hydrogenated amorphous carbon (a-C:H) deposited flat surface and Si-a:C:H deposited flat surface respectively. Either, a-C:H or Si-a:C:H has been deposited on …

Comparative Study on Red Tacton with Other Technologies
Abstract: AbstractRed tacton is a communication between the object and the human. This technology is easy to use services and it activates the communication. This paper describes about the networking through touching in the human body for the transmission of the data. This networking technology was developed by Robin Gaur Jind, he described that the body of the human with safe and speed. The red tacton is a chip which is …

Real-Life Demonstration on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow in Microfluidic Devices
Abstract: AbstractIn this research paper, glass and PMMA are chosen as materials to fabricate the microfluidic devices due to the optical transparency of these materials. The microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography (non-contact lithography), hot embossing lithography (contact lithography), indirect bonding technique, and direct bonding technique. The surface-driven capillary flow is recorded corresponding to each microfluidic device by a CMOS camera. The colour-images are compared with the gray-scale-images for …
