Short Review on the Materials for Microfluidics with the Experiments to Record the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Water in Fabricated Microfluidic Device for Bioengineering Applications
Abstract: In this review, dominant features of suitable materials for the fabrication of microfluidic devices are briefly mentioned. Surface modification techniques are useful to vary the flow-speed in microfluidic devices. Surface modification techniques are dependent on the choice of device materials. In this present paper, a single polymeric microfluidic device as sudden expansion microchannel is fabricated by author using maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. Also, the surface-driven …

Short Review on the Particle Image Velocimetry in Fluid Mechanics
Abstract: In this short review, the reports by few authors on particle image velocimetry are briefly described. The features of particle image velocimetry are briefly mentioned. Also, in this short review, an experimental demonstration on microfluidic flow is presented by Mukhopadhyay as author. A single microchannel bend is fabricated by microfabrication techniques. Dyed water is prepared as working liquid. The surface-driven capillary flow of dyed water is recorded and shown corresponding …

Experimentation and two-dimensional fluid flow simulation through external gear pump
Abstract: The investigation aims to perform the experimentation on the existing set up of the gear pump test rig and its simulation. In the first part of study, the different parameters are set and observed. Using these values calculations are performed to get the other experimental results. In the second part, two-dimensional fluid flow simulation was done flowing through the external gear pump and compares its flow rate and thus efficiency …

Monitoring the Variations Influence of Bacterial Transport Coefficient on Rhodopseudomonas Depositions in Natural Pond
Abstract: This paper monitored the transport reflecting Rhodopseudomonas concentration in natural pond, the study express the rate of predominant influence from bacterial transport coefficient in the migration and deposition of Rhodopseudomonas in the study environment, the rate of bacterial transport coefficient in the natural pond shows that there is the tendency of partial immobile velocity in the pond, these factors reflected on the transport system of Rhodopseudomonas in the natural pond. …

Smart Water Distribution System Using PLC And HMI
Abstract: The increasing population and thus the wide expansion of urban residential areas have increased the need of proper sharing of water. This distribution of water in every house within different areas needs the control and monitoring for preventing the wastage of water and the water theft practices. Different technologies have been studied to distribute/supply the water to each and every house of residential areas. The main aim of this project …
