Analysis of Flow through Main Engine Control Unit (MECU) of a New Aircraft Fuel Control System under Various Aircraft Acceleration
Abstract: A fuel control system is being designed and developed for a new aero engine of afighter aircraft. But existing facility doesn’t support the full operational testing of theindividual components of aircraft fuel control system under various aircraft accelerationconditions. In this paper theoretical analysis has been done to check the flow distribution ofone of the basic systems i.e. Main Engine Control Unit (MECU) under various aircraftaccelerations. It has been observed that, in …

Effect of Fly Ash on the Rheological and Filtration Properties of Palm Oil-in-Water Emulsion Based Drilling Fluid
Abstract: The emulsions are considered as most favourable drilling fluid to drill sensitive formations like shales. In this work, an attempt has been made to develop an emulsion using palm oil. The polymers and surfactant were added to the system to improve the emulsion mud characteristics. It was observed that these emulsions were showing favourable rheological properties and poor filtration control characteristics. But, poor filtration properties were further controlled by fly …
