Pyometra in Bitches: A Review of Literature
Abstract: Pyometra is a frequently diagnosed bacterial infection of the uterus in intact, sexually mature bitches, leading to the accumulation of purulent material in the uterine lumen. Approximately one third of the anoestrous bitches can be diagnosed with pyometra. Closed-cervix pyometra is particularly dangerous, because septicaemia and toxaemia may develop rapidly and if left untreated can result in death of the patient. Cystitis in an Adult Buffalo—A Case Report
Abstract: An adult buffalo with history of fever, anorexia, and frequent urination with turbid urine for two days was presented to the hospital. Microscopic examination of urinary sediment revealed presence of pus cells, erythrocytes, bacteria and desquamated epithelial cells. Haematology revealed leukocytosis with neutrophilia. Surgical Management of Congenital Lipoma in a Calf
Abstract: A 9 month old female non-descriptive buffalo calf with an extensive mass on lateral aspect of face was diagnosed to have a congenital lipoma and was managed by surgical excision.
