A Machine Learning Approach for Investigating Spatial Structures between Spectral line Sources: Formaldehyde Absorptions versus Methanol Masers
Abstract: In this paper the authors present fascinating ideas on using machine learning algorithms to study connections in spatial distributions between observed spectral line sources. The method has been illustrated using observations of 4.8 GHz formaldehyde absorptions and 6.7 GHz methanol masers in the Galaxy. Both spectral line features have been well-observed in close associations with galactic star-formation regions, and we initiate this study to understand spatial connections between them. We …

Designing, Constructing and Testing a 90 cm Parabolic Satellite Dish Using Fiberglass Material
Abstract: In this paper, we designed and constructed a parabolic satellite dish using fiberglass material for Ku-band reception that would be able to receive stations from any transponder focused on it which may be coded or non-coded stations. To achieve this objective, a parabolic graph was plotted using the geometry calculations of a parabola (i.e., the axis of asymmetry against its directrix). From this calculation and graph, the form-work was obtained …

Land Use/Land Cover Change Detection of Indira Sagar Canal Command Area Using Integrated Remote Sensing and GIS Tools
Abstract: In recent years, the significance of spatial data technologies, especially the application of remotely sensed data and geographical information systems (GIS), has been widely used. Land cover/land use is one of the influencing factors when it comes to catchment runoff. Hence, it is necessary to carefully consider both spectral and spatial characteristics of the sensor and accuracy of representative areas of predefined classes. The current study explores the change in …
