A Novel UPLC Method Development and Validation for the Estimation of Paracetamol and Chlormezanone in Dosage Form
Abstract: A simple, rapid, specific, accurate and precise Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed for the estimation of paracetamol and chlormezanone in dosage forms. Water Acquity C18 (100×2.1 mm ID) 1.8 µm was the column used. Methanol: Water: TEA (Tri ethyl amine) in the ratio of 50:50:0.5% (v/v/v) was the optimized mobile phase and pH was adjusted to 7.5 by using Ortho Phosphoric Acid. The flow rate was 0.5 …

Assessment of Antibacterial Potentialities of Diacetaldehyde Terpenoid Isolated from Curcuma Caesia Roxb. Against a Panel of Pathogenic Bacteria
Abstract: Assessment of antibacterial potentialities of a diacetaldehyde terpenoid was performed in this paper against a panel of pathogenic bacterial strains. This terpenoid was isolated from Curcuma caesia Roxb. and found to have several kinds of biological activities like antibacterial, antifungal and antitumour. In this experiment it was found that the terpenoid can inhibit the growth of bacterium at 150 to 200 μg/ml of concentrations. Hence, this terpenoid can be used …

Elemental Impurities: A Review
Abstract: The ICH Q3D is an important guideline to harmonize control of elemental impurities. The guideline sets strict limits for final drug products, limits for excipients, active pharmaceutical ingredients and other pharmaceutical drug products. The analysis of elemental impurities in the pharmaceutical products is most important in pharmaceutical industries. In the last decade noteworthy progress has been made in the analysis of elemental impurities. The changes from using special reagents which …

Characterization of Endofungus Aspergillus nomius EF8-RSM Isolated from Aloe vera Western Ghats of Karnataka India
Abstract: The objective of the present research investigation was to reveal the versatile nature of endophytic Aspergillus nomius EF8-RSM. The fungus was purified from Aloe vera, Western Ghats of Karnataka, India and sequence was submitted at NCBI under the accession number MN871698. The fungus successfully produced Indole acetic acid at the rate of 49.21±6.1 μg/ml and phosphate solubilization was confirmed with solubilization index (1.63). The fungus showed production of siderophore, ammonia …

Anti-Escherichia coli Potentials of a Novel Chemical Compound 1-(2-hydroxy-1, 2-diphenylethylidene)-3-phenylthiourea
Abstract: Inspiration from the anti-infective excellence (anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-malarial) of Schiff’s base molecules as well as knowing the rising importance of low-molecular-weight ligands (LMWL), the present research involved the development of novel Schiff’s base compound utilizing very basic laboratory components; 1-phenylthiourea and benzoin using the conventional synthesis technique. The compounds were comprehensively characterized through sophisticated instruments and further screened for anti-microbial activity against pathogenic Escherichia coli (E. coli, MTCC …
