Fullerene: Properties, Synthesis and Application
Abstract: In this paper, a detailed study of fullerene is presented. Fullerene is the allotrope of carbon. These are also called as buckyballs. Their properties, synthesis and applications are discussed in this paper. Fullerene synthesis is done by arc discharge method and analysis is done by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Synthesis process shows that C60 and C70 are produced at 1000 ℃ and that the concentration increases as pulse duration …

Microfluidic Flow of Dyed Water in the PMMA Microchannels
Abstract: In this work, total three individual polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography, drilling, direct bonding technique and chip separation technique. Dyed water is the working liquid. One sudden expansion microchannel and two microchannel bends are tested by dyed water. The surfacedriven capillary flow is recorded by the CMOS camera. This work will be useful in the fabrication of PMMA lab-on-a-chip systems for microfluidic …

Microfluidic Flow of Dyed Water in the SU-8 based Glass Devices
Abstract: Two individual SU-8 based glass microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique. Dyed water is used as working liquid to record the surface-driven capillary flow in each microfluidic device. In the indirect bonding technique, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) dissolved in EC solvent is used as the adhesive material to fabricate the leakage-free microfluidic device. CMOS camera is used as the recording tool in this work. This work …

A Study on Stabilization of Polymers Against Radiation
Abstract: Polymers undergo degradation process, when interacted with different types of radiations. Due to the degradation process, a depreciation on chemical and physical properties occur, which ultimately effect the mechanical properties. Therefore stabilization is an essential step to prevent degradation of polymer against radiation. In the present studies, the authors attempts stabilization of some polymers against gamma irradiation. Keywords: Polymers, radiative degradation, free radicals stabilizationCite this Article N. Pressure Dependence of Isothermal Anderson Gruneisen Parameter of NaCl
Abstract: AbstractVarious models have been developed for determination of isothermal Anderson Gruneisen parameter of NaCl at room temperature and different pressures. In present work, a new model is developed by modification of existing EOS (equation of state) to study the temperature and pressure dependence of isothermal Anderson Gruneisen parameter of NaCl. The results obtained with the present model are in quite close agreement to the experimental values. Comparison of the obtained …
