A Rare Cause of Cerebral Venous Thrombosis: Prothrombin G20210A Mutation
Abstract: Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) represents a significant cause of cerebrovascular accident. Numerous intracranial or systemic disorders may generate CVT, thus, a thorough etiologic assessment is needed. Among the non-infectious causes of CVT, congenital thrombophilia, Factor V Leiden mutation and Prothrombin (G20210A) mutation in particular, are the commonest. Unruptured Mirror Aneurysm of the Carotid Artery Revealed by Temporal Lobe Epilepsy: Case Report
Abstract: Unruptured intracranial aneurysms are mostly small and located in the anterior circulation. Bilateral intracavernous carotid artery aneurysms (ICCAAn) are rare.
