Evaluation of Antimicrobial Activity of Some Medicinal Plants against Most Prevalent Diabetic Wound Pathogens
Abstract: The present research work attempts to evaluate antimicrobial activity of 90% ethanolic extracts of three traditional medicinal plants viz. Terminalia bellirica, Terminalia chebula, Pyhllanthus emblica. Since ethanol is the best solvent for dissolving antimicrobial compound present as active phytoconstituents in plants, these plants were extracted with ethanol.
