Interspecies Sharing of “Indian Bison Type,†A Novel Predominant Genotype of Mycobacterium Avium Subspecies Paratuberculosis between Naturally Infected and Endemic Flocks of Bharat Merino Sheep and a Colony of Rabbits (Oryctolagus Cuniculus) Raised on the
Abstract: Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis (MAP) is endemic in domestic and wild ruminants and non-ruminant animal population of India. Study of Radioactive Productivity in Swiss Albino Mice of Herbal Project by Plant Extract
Abstract: Use of ionising radiation for both peaceful and military purpose has increased the exposure risk to living organisms. Gamma radiation, X-Rays and various isotopes are the most common source of human exposure. Radon products, Nuclear weapons, use of atomic energy in industries, isotopes in the field of medicine institutes of research are the other sources from which man may receive radiation. Role of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) on Survival of Free Ranging Birds: A Review
Abstract: The PCB contaminant levels reported in tissues individuals are not likely to have an impact on the demographic performance of the birds as a whole. However, the residues may reach levels causing decreased reproduction or survival in some years, particularly when combined with other non-anthropogenic stressors such as food scarcity. In addition, the birds normally would have more exposure to the contaminants due to their position in the food chain. …
