Microalgae: Promising Sources of Biofuels
Abstract: Single-celled photosynthetic organisms known as microalgae have drawn a lot of interest as a potential source for the synthesis of biofuel. These microscopic organisms are able to effectively convert sunlight and carbon dioxide into biomass that is high in proteins, carbs, and lipids. Microalgae makes up to 19% starch concentration providing an eco-friendly and sustainable way to satisfy the growing need for renewable energy sources.Although they can be made from …

Evaluating the Effect of NPSB Fertilizers on Barely (Hordeum vulgare L.) Production and Productivity at Tocha Woreda, Southwest Ethiopia.
Abstract: A number of blended fertilizers (BFs) were formulated and introduced but site and crop specific rate was not identified. A research was conducted in Tocha woreda to evaluate the rate of NPSB fertilizer to improve barely yield during main cropping season of 2019 and 2020. The experiment consists of seven treatment such as control(0) , recommended NP (69kg N and 20kg P), NPSB: 18.9-37.7-6.95-0.1 (100kg NPSB), NPSB: 41.9-37.7-6.95-0.1(100kg NPSB + …

NPSB Fertilizer Effect on Yield of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) At Wolaita Zone Sodo Zuria Woreda, South Ethiopia
Abstract: Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is one of most important cereal crop in Ethiopia. The major obstacle for farmer to produce wheat in Ethiopia was low soil fertility status and nutrient imbalance. The experiment was conduct during 2019 and 2020 ‘meher’ cropping season at Kokate substation of Areka agricultural research center at sodo zuria woreda wolaita zone south Ethiopia with objectives of evaluating the effect of NPSB fertilizers rate on yield and …
