5000 Series of Aluminum and Its Alloys Opaque by Inhibitors
Abstract: 5XXX series of alloys are prepared for marine applications. Light weight, strength, low maintenance and inherent tendency to form passivity surfacing have selected these alloys for manufacture of cargo ships. Anti corrosive paints have been traditional protections in these alloys. Workers exposed to chromate residues during sanding of aircraft and recoating have increased risk of cancer to 250,000-fold higher. These paints are hazardous for aquatic life, so eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors …

6000 inhibitors for aluminum and its alloys
Abstract: 6XXX series of aluminum alloys suffer from severe corrosion in acidic saline medium. These alloys are used for architectural, automobiles, aviation, household appliances, containers and electronic devices. Organic-inorganic sol-gel hybrid coatings are synthesized on these alloys. Rear earth inhibitors consider lanthanum inhibitors to be better than cerium inhibitors. These contexts discuss epoxy-silica-zirconia by sol-gel coatings, paddy residue, colchicines, rare earth coatings and ionic liquid for composites

A Review on joining super austenitic stainless steel AISI 904L
Abstract: Super austenitic stainless steel AISI 904L is the commended material for high corrosion resistance and strength requirements. Super austenitic stainless steels are widely employed in applications like aerospace, automotive, marine, industrial applications. The process of joining of super austenitic stainless steel can be done with several conventional arc welding processes, but micro plasma arc welding which promotes high heat inputs and low dilution of the welds which makes joining of …

Corrosion inhibitors of steel applicable by green but toxics
Abstract: Inhibitors in detergent and alkali based chemicals are used in various media for steels. Toxicity has induced pharmaceutical compounds as better inhibitors to restrict pollutant gases emissions after reaction with alkaline inhibitors. Green in origin inhibitors are toxin free to use with detergents for inhibition of both pollutant gases and corrosion of processing machineries made of metals. Eco-friendly inhibitors have appeared for steel corrosion being embedded in concrete i.e. alkaline …

A Compact Review on Physical Vapor Deposition Techniques of Thin Films
Abstract: The effectiveness and performance of a material is greatly influenced by its surface properties. It is possible to manipulate and alter these surface characteristics to satisfy the particular characteristics for better results. One way of modifying these properties is by coating that particular surface with thin film. There exist wide number of methodologies for coating a surface or depositing thin films over it. These techniques can be categorized either as …
