27- Level High Frequency Transformer Based- MLI for Integration of Renewable Energy
Abstract: This research proposes a unique high-frequency transformer (HFT)-based multilevel inverter(MLI) with 27 levels can be constructed with a single DCpower supply and twenty switching devices. The proposedMLI topology comprises three medium frequency isolationtransformers, each with a different rated voltage. Since thetransformers used in MLI operate at high frequencies, thesuggested system has a smaller volume and weight. Acascaded H-bridge (CHB) connects each transformer'sprimary windings, and the secondary windings areconnected in series …

Power Factor Improvement of Boost PFC Converter for Street Light Application
Abstract: Street lighting is an integral part of urban infrastructure, ensuring public safety and urban development. The conventional street lighting systems often exhibit poor power factor characteristics, leading to inefficient energy usage and increased electricity costs. This paper presents a study focused on enhancing the power factor of a Boost Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter tailored specifically for street light applications. The Light Emitting Diode (LED) streetlights powered by AC sources …

Reduced Switch Seven-Level Multilevel Inverter for Renewable Energy Applications
Abstract: The world is currently dealing with two majorissues. The first issue is a shortage of fossil fuels in the nearfuture, and the second is increased atmospheric pollution, which leads to an increase in ambient temperature (globalwarming), which necessitates the need to switch fromtraditional energy sources to renewable energy sources (RES).As the power generation from renewable energy sources isincreasing gradually, the importance of multilevel inverters isalso rising day by day for the …

Optimizing the Integration of Photovoltaic and Wind Energy Systems for Enhanced Efficiency
Abstract: This work provides a novel approach for integrating a large-capacity doubly excited induction generator (DFIG)-based wind energy system with solarphotovoltaic (PV). The suggested plan offers a practical PV-grid integration solution by utilising DFIG’s grid and rotor side power converters to pump PV power into the grid. This eliminates the requirement for a separate converter for PV power processing. Compared to a comparable rated inverter utilised in traditional PV-grid systems, the …

Modeling and Simulation of a Hybrid Solar-Wind System with Adaptive Neural Network MPPT Control in MATLAB/SIMULINK
Abstract: Over the last ten years, there has been an increasing demand for the electrical powersupply. The installation of power generators (PGs) is expensive and time-consuming. Solar powerplants are therefore thought to be a practical substitute for supplying the present demand forelectricity. The primary challenges with solar plants, however, are output power balancing andcritical maintenance. A proper technique is needed to lessen output power balance andmaintenance issues in solar facilities. For …
