Failure Analysis of Rotating Machine
Abstract: Most failures surveyed for electric motors are influenced by the particular industry, the geographic location and combination of applications in use. Rotating machine plays a vital role in industrial applications. Due to its variety of applications, it is difficult to diagnose the very cause of failure. Heavy duty rotating equipment are more prone to have failure with catastrophic consequences, if not rectified. Most failures surveyed for electric motors are influenced by …

A Comparative Study on Battery Health Monitoring System
Abstract: This work focuses on the recent trends in BHMS and its applications in industries. The concepts of travelling wave theory and Bayesian Framework in the optimisation of BHMS is outlined. The later part of the study focusses on the health monitoring system. EVs or HEVs have been marketed or generally regarded as environmentally sustainable also as substitutes for many automobiles built upon fuel engines. This is because of Lithium Ion …

Modeling and Simulation of a Chaotic Oscillator Using Mathematica
Abstract: This paper suggests a modified methodology for the modeling and simulation of a chaotic oscillator. Its analysis and the pertinent results of an efficient Mathematica simulation program dealing with a typical Chua's circuit are presented and discussed. The derived computer code is based on the application of state-variables in the time domain. The program yields the circuit’s currents and voltages and indicates their sensitivities to changes in the numerical values …

Power Losses Reduced by using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)
Abstract: Due to the increasing price of electricity, it is very critical to accomplish an optimal decrease in active (real) losses throughout power transmission. The lowering of these failures is essential so because values of leakage losses in coastal lines are quite strong and result in significant transverse active losses. Load unbalancing is the biggest problem of the electricity network and SVC is stronger able to correct the malfunction of the …
