BER Performance Analysis of MIMO With and Without Beamforming and Relaying Techniques
Abstract: The exponential surge in data traffic within contemporary communication systems has given rise to a challenge: a shortage in system information rates. To address these pressing issues, large-scale multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) techniques have emerged as a promising solution. These advanced techniques not only enhance energy efficiency but also optimize spectrum performance, positioning themselves as a pivotal cornerstone for the forthcoming evolution of wireless communication systems. In wireless communication systems, fading …

Optimizing Handoff Probability in GSM Networks: A Comprehensive Review of Pathloss Modeling Techniques
Abstract: Because wireless networks are becoming more and more popular, it is necessary to combine several heterogeneous networks in order to give users access to global information. An intriguing and modern concept called vertical handoff aims to combine several network interfaces. Battery power is the single most essential parameter that affects specific mobile nodes. The battery life of some mobile nodes is nearly depleted at the conclusion of algorithm execution because …

A Quad-Element UWB-MIMO Triangular Monopole Antenna with Triple Band -Notch and High Isolation
Abstract: A quad-element UWB-MIMO triangular monopole antenna with triple notched bands and high isolation is proposed in this paper. The presented antenna consists of four triangular -shaped antenna elements, which are arranged in orthogonal orientation. This antenna is printed on low-cost FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4 and its overall size is 50 × 50 × 1.6 mm3. Its operating frequency band is 2.97~11GHz. High isolation of 22dB between four …

A Compact CPW-fed Quadruple-band-notched Antenna with Concentric Annular-rings for UWB Applications
Abstract: In this paper, a compact coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed quadruple-band-notched antenna with concentric annular-rings for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications is presented. The proposed antenna consists of four concentric annular-ring resonators, a circular shape radiating element and a CPW feed line. The quadruple band rejection is easily achieved by controlling the widths and radii of four concentric annular-ring resonators. Through the exception of four stop-bands at 3.29 to 3.7 GHz, 5.07 to 5.92 …

Pathloss and Coverage Analysis of FM Signals for Terrestrial Communication Design over Akure, Nigeria
Abstract: Accurate analysis of Free Space Loss (FSL) of electromagnetic radiations plays significant roles in the design and planning of terrestrial communication system at radio wave and microwave frequencies. Hence, it remains important to continuously evaluate the dependence of radio waves signal strength on the properties of the propagating medium. This work employed drive test technique and free space loss analysis of some Frequency-Modulated (FM) channels in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, …
