Design and Comparative Analysis of UAV Body Prototype with ABS and CF + ABS as Structural Materials
Abstract: The small multi-rotor helicopters called drones consist in a fuselage “hanged” under a set of fixed pitch propellers each powered by an electric motor. These vehicles have great potentials and research in this topic is increasing aimed to reduce the structure weight to maximize flight time, range and payload. Multiple complex components involved in a single prototype in these vehicles put up a key challenge for 3D modelling, optimization and …

Crack Initiation, Propagation and Stress Intensity Factor of Rectangular Plate with Circular Hole by FEA Approach
Abstract: The study of crack behavior in a plate with hole is a considerable importance in the design to avoid the failure. This situation has a look at offers with investigation of stress intensity factor, von-mises stress (ϭ von-mises) at the finite center cracked plate subjected to uniform tensile loading depends at the assumptions of linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) and plane strain problem. The stress intensity factors mode I (KI) …

UTM Testing and Comparison of Mechanical Properties of Composite Material Specimens Manufactured using Fused Deposition Modeling
Abstract: 3D printing has become a popular way for prototyping of components instead of conventional methods due to quickly results obtained and a variety in properties of process possible. In this paper our aim is to elaborate on differences between strength and other Mechanical properties of abs plastic, carbon fiber + abs and glass fiber + abs filament for additive manufacturing. For this procedure for this research filament has been acquired …

Thermomagnetic Convection in a Ferrofluid Layer with Throughflow
Abstract: The effect of vertical throughflow on the onset of thermomagnetic convection in a ferrofluid layer in the presence uniform vertical magnetic field is investigated theoretically. Both the boundaries are considered to be rigid-ferromagnetic and insulated to temperature perturbations. The resulting eigenvalue problem is solved numerically using the Galerkin technique as well as analytically by regular perturbation technique with wave number as a perturbation parameter. Results show that the effect of …

Modeling and Acoustic Analysis of Noise Vibration in Automotive Gearbox by Non-destructive Testing
Abstract: A gearbox is used for transferring power from the engine to the wheels. Predicting the vibration and noise radiation from a dynamic system like a gearbox gives designers an insight early in the design process. It was conducted experimental and modeling of vibration and noise for magnitude and pressure level variations in a Peugeot 206 automotive 5-speed gearbox. It was extract vibration data related to different periodic processing and then …
