Predicting Elastic and Plastic Stress Concentration Factor using Notch Strength Analysis
Abstract: Structural sizing is getting more sophisticated as weight and cost of any structure is important. Weight optimization is a key player in enhancing business revenues and reducing fuel consumption for a greener planet. Thus, millennial designers attempt to develop weight optimized structures, while meeting structural stiffness, strength and integrity, and safety requirements as specified by international certification agencies. This can be achieved by innovative analyses approaches, which predict realistic factor …

Fan Blade Containment Capability of Hybrid Fancase System
Abstract: For an aero engine containment casing is vital for containing any fan blade out event. Most of the containment casing being used are made up of hard wall approach and are designed conservatively by adding extra wall thickness for safety. Even a small reduction in the weight of an aero engine will help in bringing down the operating costs of the aircraft, which can be adopted by a new design …

Microfluidic Flow of Aqueous Ethanol and Aqueous Isopropyl Alcohol in the SU-8 based Microchannel Bends
Abstract: In this work, a total of 8 individual SU-8 based microchannel bends as microfluidic devices are fabricated by the maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique according to the performed designs. Dyed aqueous ethanol (50% dyed water, 50% ethanol) and dyed aqueous isopropyl alcohol (50% dyed water, 50% isopropyl alcohol) are prepared and used as working liquids to test the fabricated microfluidic devices. A suitable CMOS camera is used to record …

The Distance Between the Two Points at Different Times is Relative
Abstract: This paper has been studied that-with respect to each other, two incidents occur at different times in the rest frame at the same points, these two events will happen at two points in moving frames with respect to each other. And the distance between these two points will be Rest time interval, Speed of light, Relative velocity Significant, the distance between these two points is Relative. Since the Lorentz factor …

Super-earths (Exo-planets): How Much Probability of Colonization of Life is There?
Abstract: On January 4th, 2009 American Astronomical Society in Washington D.C, the Kepler team announced that it had identified first new exo-planet and after that up to 2013, Kepler had identified nearly 4034 exoplanets or Super earth outside our solar system where some chemical conditions that the pre-biotic earth had might have prompted life, at least in form of microbes. Scientists so far announced the lists of earth-sized 4034 exo-planets with …
