Dandelion – An Alternate to Natural Rubber
Abstract: Dandelion also known as TKS (Taraxacum kok-saghyz), grown in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and North West China and considered as potential source of alternate of Natural Rubber (NR). This review briefly described the plantation conditions, chemistry, extraction, various application and future scope of this natural polymer. NR is considered very important industrial material, especially for the Aerospace and Auto-mobile industry applications. Any alternate to this engineering material is of great significance.

Recent Trends in the Use of Chemicals in Farming and Food Processing
Abstract: Intake of food and drinks in pure form are unavoidable for the survival of life. However, there is need of serious concern towards food safety which is contaminated by the increasing environmental pollution and other ways of adulteration round the globe. Indiscriminate use of various food additives in fast growing food processing industries has created new problems instead of safeguarding the edibles. The motive behind making undue profits in these …

Net Present Value Based Profitability Analysis of Nuclear Assisted Electrolytic Hydrogen Production Projects
Abstract: Techno-commercial analysis of hydrogen production by water electrolysis using electricity from nuclear power reactors is carried out in this work, using a combination of levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH) and net present value methods (NPV) which consider time value of money. Codes are developed in-house to estimate project profitability (i.e. profitable sale prices of the hydrogen produced) under baseline, optimistic and pessimistic techno-commercial scenario using simplified financial metrics such as …

Physical-chemical modeling of sea and brackish water desalination using electrolysis
Abstract: The article presents the developed physical-chemical model of desalination of sea and brackish water, permitting to create a completely new desalination method and based on it to design industrial desalinator of continues action, differing by simplicity and high economic efficiency. The use of developed industrial desalinator as a cell in serial and parallel connection of desalinators permits to control by quality and production of the obtained fresh water.
