Abstract

Generation of electrical energy through conventional means is costly, creates environmental pollution, and demand a high level of maintenance and is also going to end one day. As a result, it is critical to tap into the previously untapped potential of ecologically friendly renewable energy resources. To address this issue, the current study presents a grid-connected PV system that is efficient, long-lasting, and environmentally beneficial. at a 650 m2 Refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) section in Jaipur division of North Western Railway, India (latitude: 26°55'22.7"N, longitude: 75°46'55.3"E). This site has been chosen due to the fact that sheds are already there which can be potentially used for roof mounted PV system, reducing the cost for installation of aluminum or steel structures. The results of this grid-connected system's performance analysis will aid in the design, analysis, operation, and maintenance of new grid-connected systems for various locales [1]. The performance ratio, as well as other power losses such as soiling, PV module losses, inverter, and temperature losses, are taken into account and calculated in this study using PVsyst.
