Theoretical Thermodynamic Investigation of Double Effect LiBr-H2O Vapour Absorption System Driven by Exhaust Gases of I.C. Engine and Simulated by EES Software
Abstract This work presents a study of a Lithium Bromide-Water vapour absorption system used for automobile air conditioning system, this system using the exhaust waste heat of I.C. Engine. The effect of various parameters on coefficient of performance of Li-Br water vapour discussed. This study also illustrates various advantages of using VAS. The main purpose of this investigation is to explore the feasibility of using waste low grade energy driven LiBr-H2O vapour absorption system and hence increase the performance of the whole system.
