Abstract

AbstractA compact microstrip line fed beveled shaped filtenna is presented for ultra-wideband application. It is intended to work in the frequency range of 3.10 to 11.75 GHz and having the size of 30.5× 25×1.6 mm3. The filtenna consists of a modified three resonators based band pass filter integrated into the feed line of the modified antenna. In addition to this, a modified semicircular like the ground plane is also present. The combination of antenna and filter provides filtering operation and good radiation performance in its operating range.
