Abstract

The comprehensive modelling and numerical simulation of perovskite solar cell’s were carried out utilizing perovskite materials such “methyl ammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3, MA= CH3NH3)” with the help of SCAPS tools and measured the measurements like "open-circuit voltage (Voc), fill factor (FF), power conversion efficiency (PCE), and short-circuit current density (Jsc) of the MAPbI3 material used as active layer, respectively.” In the modelled structure of the perovskite solar (Fig 1 as shown below) cell, the copper thiocyanate (CuSCN) substance plays a crucial role and acts as the hole transport layer (HTL). According to the results of the simulation, MAPbI3 has structural characteristics like a fill factor (FF) of 84.63, apower conversion efficiency (PCE) of 27.87%, an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 1.18V, and a short circuit current density (Jsc) of 27.908493 mAcm-2. The results show excellent agreement with the existing values for all of the aforementioned parameters that were measured and published values from other researchers. The C-F and C-V characteristics have been plotted in this paper.
