Social Distancing Monitoring Device Using AI

Abstract

Social distancing plays vital role in preventing the spread of viral diseases illnesses such as COVID-19. Minimize the close contact of the people.We can reduce spread of COVID-19.With a total of more than 1cr   COVID-19 confirmed cases in the India, the country continues to implement tighter precautionary measures especially with the re-opening of business and government establishments. This paper proposes an automatic social distancing device and body temperature detection  that uses ultrasonic, infrared and infrared thermometer sensors to increase the efficiency and to reduce the cost. An automatic non-contact, body temperature to check the temperature of individuals will be attached to belt of any other suitable place. A buzzer alarms when the detected body temperature is above normal to signal personnel for immediate action. Arduino nano runs the sensors, speaker and buzzer with IOT features. When distance is less then hardware will send data to cloud and on android app it will be displayed the temperature.
