IMovies are the mirror of societal problems only time, date, names are changed. In movies, different tricks of killings and information theft are frequently seen. The warfare tactics used in ancient times are SO relevant today and need to be explored. Various means to toxicate the enemy are used cleverly. I Aim and object of the study is to critically review the scope of Agadatantra in the light of responsibilities of Vishavaidya and its significance in today’s era. Materials and Methods: Critically analyzed the military practices of ancient times in modern age by reviewing Annaraksha vidhi Adyayam. Discussion: It is Rajvaidya’s (Sushruta Kalpsthana) and Pranacharya’s duty to protect Emperor from all such calamities. Hence at that time Vishavaidya was specially appointed to accompany the king everywhere and take care of his food and belongings. Vishavaidya has to protect the king from all the enemies. In those days, toxicology being the developed one and widely used to kill the enemies by any means of contact so, importance and emergence of Agadatantra may be in the judicious use of knowledge of Rajvaidya by animal experiments, by use of appropriate Agadas, by knowing the body language and omens etc. Spy agencies – National and International (CIA, RAW, IB etc.) can make an effort to learn from our ancient knowledge of warfare techniques to add some strength to their new high-tech machineries. After all, the biggest weapon is mind.
