Abstract

The motivating fluid stream's own internal power and pressure-related flow work are transformed into kinetic energy via the ejector's operating principle. The present investigation examines how different operating environments and geometrical factors affect the efficiency of steam ejectors used in refrigeration operations. The geometrical parameters and operating conditions are mixing section length, radius, and the primary nozzle exit radius, thermally driven heat pumps for heating and cooling can be promising solutions obtained by use of CFD tool. In this section, the real values were used to validate the CFD results. Its performance was examined in relation to operating circumstances and geometry. It was discovered that the actual values from the experimental steam jet refrigerator and the CFD findings agreed quite well. It was discovered that the CFD was an adequate tool for forecasting ejector performance and that it also improved knowledge of the flow and mixing processes inside the ejector. The study's findings demonstrate the value of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in the design and optimisation of refrigeration device ejectors.
