Abstract

The modern air conditioner cools by using refrigeration gases like Freon, CFCs, etc. Although these refrigerants produce good results, one of their main drawbacks is the release of hazardous chemicals that affect the ozone molecules. Attempting to make utilisation of air conditioners that cool using thermoelectric cooling modules, which operate by the Peltier effect, becomes an option to solve this problem. These modules safeguard the ecosystem by not emitting any dangerous substances. This study investigated those Peltier-based thermoelectric air conditioners. The Peltier Effect, a thermoelectric recirculation pump, was the primary cooling mechanism used in the system. This model does not require a compressor, moving parts for the priming, etc. Thermoelectric air conditioners are superior to traditional air conditioners in a number of ways, including reduced size, less weight, higher reliability, and the absence of mechanical moving parts. The project intends to test the Peltier system's cooling capabilities indoors. The suggested design is to offer a good substitute for air conditioners, which require a significant initial investment and waste a lot of power.
