Abstract: Neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease are characterized by progressive neuronal loss associated with abnormal protein aggregation. Among these, tauopathies are defined by the accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau protein, which plays a central role in disease progression.
