Abstract: Aim of the present investigation is to develop aluminium-4.5% copper alloy metal matrix composites by reinforcing with chopped alumina fibers in varying percentage like 10%, 20% and 30% and so on. The casting can be produced by using Squeeze casting process; these castings were studied for all its mechanical properties like tensile, hardness, wear and microstructure and corrosion analysis.
