Abstract: This study attempted to formulate microspheres for oral administration of Cefaclor by using different polymers like Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) K4M, (HPMC) K15M and Ethylcellulose (EC) which increases the gastric residence time and thereby the bioavailability. Solvent evaporation method was found to be the best due to its ease of fabrication without compromising the activity of the drug.
