  Abstract: This paper presents a review of investigations on boiling heat transfer enhancement on macro-, micro- and nano-scale surfaces and fluids by the authors at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI) plus known results of other researchers. These investigations were conducted with the purpose of increasing safety and efficiency of power generating systems.
